In the 2016-17 campaign, it wasn't until the 34th round against Valencia that he snapped his goal drought. Fast forward to the 2024-25 season, and he didn't score until the 10th round versus Espanyol. However, during his tenure in the top-tier league in other years, he found the back of the net much sooner: in the 2017-18 season, he scored in the very first round during the away match against Celta Vigo.
In the 2022-23 campaign, he secured a goal during the third round encounter at home against Athletic Bilbao in a local rivalry match. In the subsequent 2023-24 season, he scored against Hetafe in the sixth round of home fixtures. Furthermore, in the 2025-26 term, he netted a goal in the fourth round against Real Madrid during a home match.
